The correction option is A.
Reproductive isolation is divided into two major classes, which are prezygotic and postzygotic isolation. Prezygotic isolation refers to the barriers that are present before the egg can be fertilized while postzygotic isolation refers to those barriers that are present after the egg has been fertilized. Mechanical isolation is a type of prezygotic isolation. Mechanical isolation is a type of reproductive barrier which exist because the male and the female genitalia have different sizes, shapes and locations. The snails that coil to the left and those that coil to the right have the locations of their genitalia in different places.

1. Which of the following is responsible for transmitting an impulse across a synapse to another cell?
oksano4ka [1.4K]
You didn't really provide any possible answers here. However, it's very easy to say that the responsible actors for impulse transmission across the synapses from one nervous cell to another nervous cell is what we call neurotransmitters. These are special molecules that can have different effects when binding onto the required receptor sites.

How does water's specific heat relate to its usefulness for life give examples?
RideAnS [48]
Water covers around 70% of the Earth's surface and its high specific heat plays a very important role as it is able to absorb a lot of heat without a significant rise in the temperature. When temperatures decrease, the heat which is stored is released, restraining a rapid drop in temperature. The combined effect of these processes is a buffering of temperature on the Earth.

The gasoline engine where the air and fuel mixture is burned is called the combustion chamber. A piston is used to increase and decrease the volume which prepares the fuel to be mixed with air. A spark plug is ignited then to create the combustion thereafter.
