Graph the line with slope -1/3 passing through the point (4,-2)

Mathematics
1 answer:

Y = mx + b
slope(m) = -1/3
(4,-2)...x = 4 and y = -2
sub and find b, the y int
-2 = -1/3(4) + b
-2 = -4/3 + b
-2 + 4/3 = b
-6/3 + 4/3 = b
-2/3 = b

so ur equation is : y = -1/3x - 2/3....or x + 3y = -2

ur y int is (0,-2/3)....ur x int is (-2,0)...ur slope is -2/3....other points on ur line include (1,-1) , (4,-2) , (7,-3), (10,-4), (-5,1), (-8,2)...plot these points...u should be able to see ur line from this

A scientist crosses two pea plants that are
vivado [14]

The Punnett square is a diagram divided into squares that is used to determine genotypes.

The question is incomplete, as the required details such as the characters that represent the plant heights and the flower colors are not given.

So, I will give a general explanation instead.

Assume the plants that are crossed are represented as: TT and Tt.

The possible genotypes would be TT, TT,Tt and Tt

In the above list of genotypes, genotype T is dominant over genotype t

See attachment for an illustration of the Punnett square.

A cross section of a solid is____ figure formed by the intersection of a____and a solid when a plane_____through rhe soild.
olasank [31]

Answer:

first blank: three dimensional

second blank: object

third blank: cuts

Step-by-step explanation:

A cross section is the intersection of a three-dimensional figure and a plane.

A cross section is the shape we get when cutting straight through an object.

Different cross sections can be taken of the same solid. A plane can slice through a solid in any direction. The resulting figure of a cross section depends on how the solid is "sliced".
