There are several disadvantages and advantages of interdependence, which means the dependence of two or more things in Central America. The Panama Canal is a great example. The Panama Canal is an advantage because it makes trading by bodies of water so much easier. Before the Panama Canal was built, traders would have to go all around South America and back again, but now thanks to the Panama canal it's easier to travel.
