Answer:

The effectiveness of Electronic health records is controversial because if its advanced and time saving in one hand then in other hand it has security issues too.

Explanation:

The computerized, digital form of health records in healthcare is called Electronic Health Records. It made patient health records easily accessible instead of paper health records.

Some of its advantages are-

  • Advanced quality of care, which includes error free, easy accessible records;
  • Convenient – because it has eliminated burdensome paper works;
  • Saves space by stopping the use of heavy record files etc.

On the other hand it has certain disadvantages of –

  • security issues, as the advanced use of computer network made this information easy to hack or manipulate;
  • it needs immediate updating of records, failing which can lead to inaccuracy of data etc.

These advantages and disadvantages led to controversy of the usage and effectiveness of this system.

What is the importance of fluid between the skull and the brain?
myrzilka [38]
Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), clear, colourless liquid that fills and surrounds the brain and the spinal cord and provides a mechanical barrier against shock. Formed primarily in the ventricles of the brain, the cerebrospinal fluid supports the brain and provides lubrication between surrounding bones and the brain and spinal cord. When an individual suffers a head injury, the fluid acts as a cushion, dulling the force by distributing its impact. The fluid helps to maintain pressure within the cranium at a constant level.
