Answer:

If only one perspective is given.

If the storyteller has reasonable motivation to withhold information.

If the storyteller has an underlying agenda.

Explanation:

These characteristics do not necessarily imply that bias exists in a text. It is possible for an author to have these characteristics and still be able to write an objective, unbiased text. However, this becomes less likely as more of these characteristics are present. Identifying these situations in text can allow the reader to identify instances of bias that might affect the quality of the text.

Vinvika [58]

Why would everyone be concerned about Anne's nightmare?

D. Because they do not want to be discovered.

The reaction the others have is to silence Anne because her screams “are endangering all our lives”, as Dussel comments. Mr. Frank as well was alerted by the sound and tries to calm down Anne, he wants her to “lie quietly”.

Write a letter to your pen friend describing the festival that you enjoyed most
ruslelena [56]

Answer:

My dear Viktor,

In your previous letter you asked me to describe one of our festivals. Dear friend, Diwali is our most sacred and colourful festival. It is a festival of lights. It is celebrated at the end of the rainy season and the beginning of the winter season. It is celebrated all over India in honour of Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya after a long exile in the forest.

Great preparations are made many days before the festival. The houses and shops are painted, well cleaned and gaily decorated. In every house sweets are prepared or purchased from the market. Sweets are exchanged among friends and relatives.

The day itself is marked with great rejoicing and merry making. At night, Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, is worshipped in every Hindu home and everybody prays for health and wealth. Some people illuminate their houses with multicoloured electric bulbs. The children specially enjoy this festival. They get toys, sweets and delicious dishes to eat. They explode crackers and indulge in fun and frolic. There is nothing to equal it in any religion or country.

Yours Sincerely,

Why did romeo sneak at the capulet masquerade ball??
uranmaximum [27]
He went because he was convinced by Benvolio or Bevolio (forgot how to spell it!) to look at the girls at the party to find prettier girls than the girl he loved at the time.

Hope this helped
