Answer: an authorization of money.

The term "appropriation" can have several meanings. It can refer to the act of setting apart funds for a specific purpose. It can also refer to these funds that have been set apart. Finally, in terms of government, it can have two meanings. The first one refers to the act of "appropriating" something, or taking it as one's own. The second one refers to an authorization of money that is going to be used for a specific purpose. This is the meaning that best matches the way Hoover uses the word in this passage.

Bond [772]

Answer:

Correct Answer:

1 relied heavily on executive orders to mobilize troops, purchase warships, and obtain funds from the U.S. Treasury.

Explanation:

President Lincoln saw it as his duty as an elected President of United State of america to preserve the entity called US rather than allow the Southern States to breakaway from it. Inorder to achieve this, he had to mobilise weapons, troops and obtain funds for the persecution of the war ongoing.

Inorder to persecute the war successfully while avoidind the treacherous waters of partisan politics, he had no option than to rely heavily on executive orders based on his believe that the constitution and the presidential oath empowered him to “to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the U.S.”

HELP PLEASE BRAINLEST THE SCENE 5 IS HERE IF YOU NEED INFORMATION ABOUT THE STORY THE QUESTION IS DOWN BELOW AFTER THE STORY!!!
disa [49]

The overall story is talking about how the gods where not their for them when they needed them. I think the theme of Antigone based on scene five is that people should be thankful for what they have and not take it for granted because if you take it for granted, when you really need something it isn't going to be there.
