Identify 3 of the most environmentally negative impacts of "The Industrial Revolution?"

Biology
1 answer:
EastWind [94]3 years ago
3 0
I'm learning about this I think. Three negative effects are natural resource destroying pollution, the smoke and chemicals from industrial factories and companies pollutes the air, water, and basically the entire planet, decreasing air quality, and destroying trees and natural terrain. It also was negative on farming communities. People that made a living by growing crops, and planting seeds now dealt with not only air pollution ruining their tough work, but factories being slowly built across farmlands. It also affected wildlife poorly by destroying forests and natural animal habitats to build factories, and causing animals to flee for different terrain.

Lactic acid fermentation can be modeled by which equation?
Reptile [31]

Lactic acid fermentation can be modeled by the following equation: Pyruvic acid + NADH → Lactic acid + NAD+

LACTIC ACID FERMENTATION:

  • Fermentation is a process undergone by some anaerobic organisms. Ideally, the process of cellular respiration proceeds as follows in the presence of oxygen: Glycolysis- Kreb cycle - ETC.

  • However, in the absence of oxygen (anaerobic condition), the product of glycolysis which is pyruvic acid combines with an electron carrier (NADH) to give rise to lactic acid and NAD+.

  • This means that pyruvic acid is reduced while NADH is oxidized as modelled in the following equation:

  • Pyruvic acid + NADH → Lactic acid + NAD+

Being a visual learner have you got any tips on how to study science?
sukhopar [10]
Even being a visual learner the trick is to take notes, even if you never look at the notes ever again its good to write them down, you are more likely to remember something you have written down rather than to just look at it. Science is something that could be easy, you just have to take it at your own pace, don't try to learn science by giving it a quick read or glance at it.
