I don’t know I don’t see a map
The correct answer to this open question is the following.
The factors that shaped U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East during George H.W. Bush’s administration were the following.
After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Bush administration decided to change its foreign policy in the Middle East and took several measurements to fight the terrorist groups in that area. First, President George W. H. Bush ordered the attack of Afghanistan to end the terrorist cell led by Osama bin Laden. Secondly, he decided to invade Irak to capture Sadam Hussein, under the argument that Irak had weapons of mass destruction.
I do not agree with this approach of the Bush administration in the invasion of Irak. The reason why is that the Security Council of the United Nations had sent experts to confirm the existence of these supposed weapons but they had not found anything. So without the approval of the Security Council, Bush sent the US troops with the support of Great Britain and invaded Irak. The controversial thing is that after so many years, nobody has found weapons of mass destruction in Irak.
