The most important greenhouse gasses are the carbon dioxide and the evaporated water. These two are responsible for controlling the climate on Earth, and make a place suitable for life. They partially capture the heat from the sun and keep it around the low layer of the atmosphere around the Earth. If it wasn't for them, the heat from the Sun will come to the surface, but there will be nothing to stop it from getting back into the space, so the Earth will warm up, but than will cool of so much that it will be freezing and the temperatures will go around -70/-80 degrees, and this will be a daily cycle, so the Earth will become similar to Mars.

Anna11 [10]

ANSWER:

The resources available for the population have decreased would have caused the change.

EXPLANATION:

 • The carrying capacity of a population is the maximum size of population that a species can sustain in the environment using the available factors.
 • When the carrying capacity of a population decreases, it means that the resources for the species are not available in enough quantity to allow the population to sustain and thrive.
 • Insufficient food, space, light and water are major causes for a decrease in the "carrying capacity" of a population.

Red pine trees are currently found growing in only the cool northernmost areas of the central and eastern United States. Climate
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

correct answer is option D (Red Pine distribution will shift northward into Canada)

Explanation:

Forest tree species are expected to endure significant population changes

in response to warmer temperatures across the United States.Red pine forests are negatively impacted by extreme summer heat, especially those

that have not been thinned. Red Pine species can be adapted to a wider range of climate, several subtropical and tropical pines, have a high degree of genetic variation and tolerate a wide range of climates. Performance in multi-site provenance trials shows that they are adapted well to a wide range of climates Thus they may also be able to adapt to new climatic conditions in their natural habitat.

Their are other factors which also influence red pine occurrence like soil conditions, plant competition. These factors are likely to be additional constraints for the present species distribution and future distribution shifts.

From these factors it is found that Red pine distribution will shift northward into Canada over the next 200 years.
