So first, find out how many people can ride in an hour.
50x3=150 people
20x3=60 minutes
Then multiply by 4.
150x4=600 people
60x4=240 minutes (4 hours)
In 4 hours, 600 people can ride the ferris wheel.
Hope this helps!

A car travels 350 miles on 20 gallons of gas how many gallons will be used to travel 875 miles
tino4ka555 [31]

Hi there! You will need to do a unit rate, so you would do 20/ 350 which is a weird number 0.05714285714 , and then you multiply 0.057142857148 * 875= 50 gallons. So for 875 miles you will need 50 gallons of gas.

Find a formula for the inverse of the function: f(x) = 9–6/x^2, x&gt;0.<br><br><br> f^-1(x)=
QveST [7]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  f^-1(x) = √(6/(9 -x))

Step-by-step explanation:

The inverse function is the solution to ...

  x = f(y)

  x = 9 -6/y^2

  x +6/y^2 = 9 . . . . . add 6/y^2

  6/y^2 = 9 -x . . . . . subtract x

  6/(9 -x) = y^2 . . . . . multiply by y^2/(9 -x)

  y = √(6/(9 -x)) . . . . take the square root

Then the inverse function can be written as ...

  f^-1(x) = √(6/(9 -x)) . . . . . . x < 9
