The Aztec Indians were a simple people. They relied on what they could grow and hunt as their primary food sources. Because it was easier to grow crops than to rely on animals, the Aztec diet was plant-based and focused on a few major foods. This diet provided the nutrients necessary to sustain life, but it is also a healthy way of eating that you use can as a model when designing your own nutritious eating plan.

Why might the event be motivational for the country involved? Explain
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

Motivation or the drive to attend events can be of “generic” nature. Benefits associated with it also plays a motivational role. Leisure and travel especially having quality time with family and friends in addition to enjoy that sense of belonging give reason to attend events. Events pull people from all corners, socializing can be one of the many interest which drives oneself to attend events. The sole purpose of creating events by social and cultural group is socializing. Planned events definitely facilitate socializing, i.e. people coming together and interacting. People attend events for generic personal benefits such as entertainment and simple diversion (we can call this escapism) and ‘having fun’. ‘Generic Experiences’ are those which can occur at any event. These experiences depend more on an individual’s state of mind and particular circumstances rather than with the event theme, programme or setting. There are some ambiguous and generic reasons to attend events like entertaining, a reaction to something or ones point of view. . The event might be solemn and sacred. Sports event can attract fun loving visitors. Any enjoyable, stimulating or relaxing event draws people towards it. (Donald Getz, p. 182).

Match the ideas that influenced Thomas Jefferson to the thinkers who wrote about them.
Orlov [11]

The correct answer to this question is the following.

Match the ideas that influenced Thomas Jefferson to the thinkers who wrote about them.

John Locke:

-People have the right to create a new government if their government does not obey the social contract.

-A government should protect the natural rights of its people.

Thomas Paine:

-The American colonies were at a considerable distance from their ruling nation.

-The laws imposed by the British government on the colonies were unreasonable.

Founding father Thomas Jefferson was an Antifederalists who played a prominent role in the drafting of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, and in the creation of the new Constitution of the United States during the Constitutional Convention of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the summer of 1787.

Jefferson received the influence of the ideas of Thomas Pain and his pamphlet "Common Sense," and of English Enlightenment thinker John Locke.

Other brilliant minds of the Enlightenment inspired other American founding fathers like Benjamin Franklin. We are talking of Enlightenment philosophers like Voltaire, Thomas Hobbes, Jean-Jaques Rosseau, and Baron of Montesquiou.
