Answer:

The Know-Nothing Party was established in 1850.

In July of 1844, riots broke out in the city of Philadelphia. Nativists battled Irish immigrants which resulted up to two Catholic churches and a Catholic school being burned down.

The Know-Nothing Party was was an outgrowth of the strong anti-immigrant people.

In 1843, The Know-Nothings formed the American Republic Party.

1854 they had allied themselves with groups within another political party called the Whigs.

In 1855, The Know-Nothings dropped much of their secrecy and became known as the American Party.

FREE-SOILER PARTY

The Free-Soiler Party was a short political party in the US during 1848-1852 presidential elections

It was the 3rd largest party that grew it's greatest strength from New York.

The party leadership consisted of former anti-slavery members of the Whig Party and the Democratic Party.

Its main purpose was opposing the expansion of slavery into the western territories, arguing that free men on free soil comprised a morally and economically superior system to slavery.

Its presidential nominee in 1848, Martin Van Buren, received 291,616 votes against Zachary Taylor of the Whigs and Lewis Cass of the Democrats, but Van Buren received no electoral votes. The Party's "spoiler" effect in 1848 may have put Zachary Taylor into office in a narrowly-contested election.

The Compromise of 1850 temporarily neutralized the issue of slavery and undercut the party's no-compromise position. Most Barnburners returned to the Democratic party, and the Free Soil Party became dominated by ardent anti-slavery leaders.

The Free Soil Party was a notable third party. More successful than most, it sent two Senators and fourteen Representatives to the thirty-first Congress, which convened from March 4, 1849 to March 3, 1851.

Answer: free soil party :a former U.S. political party ( 1848-1856) founded by Martin Van Buren, that opposed the extension of slavery in the territories not yet admitted to statehood. Their slogan "free soil, free speech, free labor, and free men" had attracted small farmers, debtors, village merchants, and household and mill workers, who resented black-labor competition, whether slave or free, in the territories.

The know nothing party : A political party that flourished in the 1850s. It was an outgrowth of the strong anti-immigrant and anti-Roman Catholic sentiment that started the manifest itself during the 1840s. A rising of immigrants, especially Germans in the Midwest and the Irish in the East, seemed to pose a threat to the economic and political security of Native-born Protestant Americans. hope it helps

First page

a: 0.864

b: x = 7, -8.75

Second page:

Domain: (3, ∞)

Range: (-∞, ∞)

Asymptote: x = 3

Third page: About 464 visitors

Step-by-step explanation:

See first attached photo for page 1 work

Second page: A log argument must be positive (the number in the log x place), so and number for x greater than 3 will satisfy this requirement.

x - 3 > 0, so x > 3

The range of a log x fucntion is (-∞, ∞),

Since x ≠ 3, there is a vertical asymptote at x = 3, the graph will not cross the line x = 3

*See second attached photo for the graph

Third page: Take the visitors of one year, and divide it by the visitors of the previous year to determine the % growth.

EX: from 2003 to 2004 the number of visitors grew from 310 to 322, a % change of

322/310 = 1.07, or 7%

Do this will all the years and you will see that each year there was about a 7% growth.

So in year 2009, there will be 434(1.07) = 464.38 visitors, or about 464 visitors

hope this helps i think it not

In terms of environmentalism there are sharp conflicts between the Global North and South. Which of t following represents Globa
aliina [53]

The Global North and the Global South are said to make up the two main economic worlds that span the entire planet.

While the Global South represents the economically underdeveloped nations of Africa, India, China, Brazil, and Mexico, among others, the Global North represents the economically developed societies of Europe, North America, Australia, Israel, and South Africa.

While the Global North is wealthy, politically stable, technologically advanced, and aging as a result of their nations' propensity for declining populations, the Global South is the exact reverse.

What causes conflicts about the environment?

Causes can include squabbles over natural resources at the community and/or family levels as well as control over essential environmental resources like fossil fuels.

Conflicts can take many different forms, ranging from open warfare and even genocide to localized conflicts.

While the Global North is wealthy, politically stable, technologically advanced, and aging as a result of their nations' propensity for negative population growth, the Global South is the exact reverse.
