An <u>inference</u> is a comprehensive <u>guess</u> that arises from the interpretation of within a text to find its hidden meaning and goals.

One makes an <u>inference</u> by drawing <u>conclusions</u> based on previous knowledge or personal viewpoints regarding any kind of text, which is usually accompanied by <u>supporting facts</u> and reasons.
