In my opinion, the correct answer is A. She has made it many times. Phoenix's path grows out of its context into a symbol of her durability, patience, and determination, in spite of her old age and fragile health. Even the fact that her memory sometimes betrays her doesn't mean she has lost her cause.

The juxtaposition technique is used when two descriptions, ideas, characters, actions, or events are placed side by side in a narrative.

Juxtaposition is the practice of juxtaposing two items in order to emphasize their differences. It is employed rhetorically by writers. Contrasting opposites like wealth and poverty, beauty and ugliness, or darkness and light is a common technique used by writers.

In literary terms, juxtaposition refers to the display of difference by ideas arranged side by side.

The following quotes are an illustration of juxtaposition

"Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country," and "Let us never bargain out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate" are two quotes that should guide all negotiations."

"The fact amply demonstrates a cultural contrast between rich and poor."

Explain both the literal and symbolic meaning and importance of pouring poison in a person’s ear in Hamlet.
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

In Act I Scene 5 lines 59-54, the ghost of King Hamlet tells his son that his uncle was the one that murdered him by pouring poison in his ear.

The literal meaning of this is that Claudius poison his brother and King Hamlet. The poison was introduced to his body through his ear. This is very interesting, especially because usually poison is given to a person in a drink, but Shakespeare was trying to say something beyond with this.

The symbolic meaning of this is connected with the fact that words (which we listen and enter our ears) can also be like poison and they can actually kill us. In fact, this is what happens to Prince Hamlet, the words uttered by the ghost of his father end up working like poison, they will force him to find revenge to the point in which he will find his own death.

The pamphlet seeks to engage Americans in the fight against the British. Indeed, Paine wrote The American Crisis pamphlets during the early stages of the American Revolution that were very unfavorable to Americans and when their cause seemed more uncertain than ever. Support for the Revolution was waning and Paine intended to galvanize it in order to facilitate a turnaround of the current situation.

The analogy of winter intends to show the reader that as winter gives way to the new life of Spring, the initial struggles and defeats of the American Revolution would give life to victory. The use of the terms hope and virtue intend to show Americans that this was a just war against tyranny and that the alternative to victory was the death of democracy.
