Which characteristic of his poem I am offering this poem most likely reflects this experience

poizon [28]3 years ago

Answer: The third stanza where the speaker refers to being lost and needing direction seems to reflect the poet's experience. The overall characteristic of the poem reflects the loneliness and sense of having no one to care for you-- but now that he has grown, the speaker knows that someone-- everyone-- wants somebody to love them and care for them even if it is the only thing somebody has to give.

Explanation: Jimmy Santiago Baca was abandoned by his parents when he was 13, and he ran away from the orphanage where his grandmother had placed him.

There may be more to this, but from the question, this seems to at least a start on what you need to look for in the poem.

In " the veldet," author Ray Bradbury repeatedly uses personification to give human traits to the Happylife Home operating syste
SVEN [57.7K]

Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

Given that Personification is a figurative expression that describes a thing, animal, or inanimate object in human traits to enhance the description of the object and give distinct characteristics to the narrative.

Hence, In "The Veldt," author Bradbury uses personification when he writes,

1. "George Hadley walked through the singing glade and picked up something that lay in the corner near where the lions had been."

Here, the "glade" is personified. Because ordinarily, the glade is just an open space surrounded by wood. But the author is describing it with human traits as "singing" glade.

2. "And although their beds tried very hard, the two adults couldn’t be rocked to sleep for another hour."

Here the beds are personified. Because ordinarily "bed" is just a piece of furniture with foam to sleep. So when the author described the "beds" to have "tried very hard" this is an example of personification.

gladu [14]

The right answer is:

What most likely inspired Goodwin's examination of the boy’s cruel behavior toward one another in Lord of the flies was his own experience working as a teacher after WWII.

He didn’t like working as a teacher very much, it is said he often spent class periods working on his own novels.

He once said to his wife; “Wouldn’t it be a good idea if I wrote a book about children on an island, children who behave in the way children really would behave?”

Which makes us wonder, which type of students was he teaching?
