Passed by Congress June 4, 1919, the 19th amendment granted all women the right to vote. It took many generations to get to this point, but women worked hard. Through making suffrage groups for women, or even marching, women worked to have the right to vote.

Explanation:

Starting around the 1800s, women started organizing and petitioning to win the right to vote, but it took them decades to accomplish their purpose.

The amendment was  introduced in Congress in 1878, especially because a few years ago the fifteenth amendment took place to give african american men the right to vote.

After a lengthy and difficult struggle, agitation and protest, by the beginning of the mid-19th century, several generations of woman suffrage supporters lectured, wrote, marched and practiced civil disobedience to achieve a resolution. By 1920 finally, the 19th Amendment was introduced to the U.S. Constitution, giving women's  the right to vote.

What did the Framers of the Constitution create to resolve disputes between the states?
Sveta_85 [38]

During the Constitutional Convention of 1789, there was a dispute regarding the representation of the states in Congress. The large states wanted the number of representatives in Congress to be proportional to that state's population. On the other hand, the smaller states wanted the number of representatives per state to be equal among all states.

The "Great Compromise" was a solution to this. It was a combined proposal of the Virginia Plan and the New Jersey Plan. It concluded that the House of Representatives (Lower House) should have a proportional representation according to the population of each state. Regarding the Senate (Upper House), The representation would be limited to 2 senators per state, regardless of the number of people living in each of them.
