Hello!

We must find the area of the picture frame because that is how we will be able to figure out whether or not the 40 inch² picture will fit in the frame.

5 * 9 = 45

A N S W E R:

The picture frame is too big for the picture because it has an area of 45 inch², which is why your answer is no, the picture will NOT fit in the frame.

Multiple 40*40 to determine the actual square inches.  Then multiply 5*9 to determine the square inches of the frame.  Compare the two numbers.  If 40*40 is bigger than 5*9, then the picture will not fit in the frame.  If 40*40 is smaller than 5*9, then the picture will fit in the frame.

40^2= 40 * 40= 160" squared

5*9= 45" squared

A 160" squared picture would be too big for a 45" squared frame.

Hope this helps!  :)

Answer: Paired t interval for μdiff

Step-by-step explanation:

The confidence interval suitable for analysing the data described in the scenario above is the paired t test which is employed when there are two different sets of measured reading or observation for each subject. In the scenario above, the subjects are of of the different planters employed whereby the pair of measurement are the weight of tomatoes obtained for each of the two different fertilizer types applied to each of the two plants in a planter. With these data, we can measure the difference in the effectiveness of each of the store brand and homegrown compost.
