I suppose that is true. Though I feel like I never have any motivation, and yet here I am, trying to sneak in getting homework questions answered while I'm on break at work...

This is true because just like airplanes and jets, they got inspired by the birds wings ability to fly and that MOTIVATED people to create these machines, because they were moved by others, so yes motivation is the key to completion in this world.
