The Seven Years' War refers to multiple conflicts that took place in North America, India and Eastern Europe from 1754 to 1763. In this Map you can see the North Coast of America, which nowadays is Canada and The United States, where France and England established colonies during the 18th century. The black dots represent the most important settlements in the area, so you can notice that the orange region has none established outpost. Thus, the closeness of French and British colonies would likely cause conflict (option B), in order to colonize the orange land. In the end, France gave all these territories to England and agreed to stop the conflicts.
