How was society in Ancient India organized?
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

Society in Ancient India was organized in four classes known as varnas.

Explanation:

The Vedas (important sacred texts) divided Ancient India into the following four varnas:

Brahmin - Teachers, spiritual advisors, and priests. They gathered knowledge and shared it with others.

Kshatriya - Rulers and warriors of society. Their job was to protect others and keep peace.

Vaishya - Traders, skilled artisans, and farmers.

Shudra - Laborers and servants.

Anyone could change ranks if they wanted to. (A shudra could become a brahmin, etc.).

I hope it helps you!
