Coastal Cities have a number of benefits, such as having access to sea trade, and being able to develop a fleet. In the case of colonies another important factor played a role: a vast majority of people came by ship from Europe, so coastal cities were an easy choice for them to settle in.

Answer: C) This is not plagiarism

Explanation: A writer or speaker will be accused of Plagiarism if he or she uses the words or ideas of other authors as though the ideas or words were originally his or her own by not properly acknowledging the words or ideas he borrowed and also not properly citing the author.

In the student's write up, the words or ideas he borrowed from the author didn't need to be put inside quotation marks because he paraphrased them and properly cited the author of those words, that is legal and would not result to plagiarism.

"natural disasters cannot be controlled totally but we can minimize their effects."justify this statement with suitable examples
PolarNik [594]

Answer:

Natural disasters can be minimized with metal poles and conductors or nitrogen and other gases which dispel many things inside the storm or disaster. For example, in Hurricane Harvey, a woman helped people evacuate the area, and she even helped prevent further ones by not contributing to any things adding up to disasters like this.
