English

The right answer is A.Since the speaker is going mad, I wonder if it [the raven] is actually perched above the door.

Brackets are used to include supplemental information without interrupting the flow of the text. They are used to clarify or explain a part of the sentence that is not present, especially in a direct quotation.  They can explain quotes that are separated from their original context. And that is the situation we have presented here. The term inside the brackets is separated from their original context, and, in order for this sentence to make sense, they had to introduce it, via brackets.

I have a poem and I need to know what I can fix on it and what you think grabbed your heart or what would be better to do that..
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

This is such a pretty poem and I love it. I think where it says: That he leaves you so so stunned Do you try to get closer but end up getting burned

you should make that 2 lines, cut it off after the word stunned.

I also think that on the last line you should say in the night instead of and the night. Overall though this poems is amazing!

Which phrase from the excerpt best reveals how the social environment shifts as the lottery begins? A sudden hush fell on the cr
pantera1 [17]

Answer:

A sudden hush fell on the crowd as Mr. Summers cleared his throat and looked at the list.

Explanation:

The phrase from the excerpt that best reveals how the social environment shifts as the lottery begins is "A sudden hush fell on the crowd as Mr. Summers cleared his throat and looked at the list.".

This is because, by mentioning that there was a sudden silence in the crowd as the lottery numbers were about to be called shows that the social environment shifted as the announcement was about to be made.
