The Order of Operations is a set of rules that tell you how to evaluate Algebraic Expressions.

They are different classes of object, like a knife and an apple. They cannot be compared, but one is used to make something useful of the other.

A cube is shown.

What is the surface area of the cube?
valkas [14]

1350 cm^2. First, we must find the area of one side. The formula for the area of a square is S^2 or S*S, so plugging in the value of the side we get 15*15=225. So each side of the cube is 225 cm^2, so since there are 6 sides, we just multiply by 6 (225*6=1350).

First equation
L.H.S = 4x -0.25y
so it doesn't equal the R.H.S

2nd equation
R.H.S = 15q + 3qr
so it doesn't equal the L.H.S

3rd equation
R.H.S = -30m -60n
so R.H.S doesn't equal L.H.S

4th equation
L.H.S = -16a +4
so L.H.S equal R.H.S
