0.561 rounded to the nearest hundredth is 0.56. Remember the 10th and 100th places in decimals, 10th being the place of the 5, and 100th being the place of the 6. When rounding, you only raise it if the number you are given is higher than 5. Because it's just a 1, in this case you can just take it off.

Find the equation of the line perpendicular to y=−2 that passes through the point (4, −2).
vfiekz [6]

Answer:

x = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

y = - 2 is the equation of a horizontal line parallel to the x- axis.

A perpendicular line is therefore a vertical line parallel to the y- axis with equation

x = c

where c is the value of the x- coordinates the line passes through.

The line passes through (4, - 2 ) with x- coordinate 4 , thus

x = 4 ← equation of perpendicular line

On a spinner: P(3) = ½ and the p(4) = ⅙ What is the probability of getting 3 or 4?
scoundrel [369]
I agree that and means multiplication, but in this problem it says OR. When you have or, you have to add. 1/2 +1/6 would be 2/3
