So you follow PEMDAS

So we start with the exponent which is -X^2 so it would turn into X

Now we have X+4=10

We bring the four over and we get X=6

Hope this was helpful and ask questions if you still need help:)

If A and B are independent events, then it must be true that P(A|B)=P(A)?
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

True : If A and B are independent events, then P(A|B)=P(A) is true.

Step-by-step explanation:

If A and B are independent, P(A and B) = P(A) * P(B)

P(A|B)    conditional probability, P(A) given B has already happened

= P(A and B) / P(B)

= P(A)*P(B) / P(B)

= P(A)

Therefore

If A and B are independent events, P(A|B)=P(A) is true.
