The Palace of Versailles is an opulent complex and former royal residence outside of Paris. It has held sway in the public imagination for years because of its architectural grandeur and political history. Versailles is a perfect example of baroque and rococo architecture. Louis XIV himself painted as Apollo, the Sun God. Throughout the palace you will find the intertwined L's of his name. It all serves as a constant reminder that he is the king and all power comes from him by the grace of God.

Answer:

Explanation:

The architecture on the exterior of Versailles is breathtaking. Immediately, you feel almost inadequate to step inside. The Hall of Mirrors is probably the most amazing part of the building, because not only do you have the mirrors and chandeliers, but the ceilings are beautifully painted as well. If I were to change something, I would change the way the building is laid out in a "U" shape, and so it would take a long time to walk from one end of the palace to the other. A simple rectangle would be better.
