In 2005, out of every 50 employees at a company were women. If there are total company employees, estimate the number of women
myrzilka [38]

Answer:

9248

Step-by-step explanation:

let x be the number of women out of 41285 total company employees then we have the following proportion

11.2 : 50 = x : 41285

x = (41285 * 11.2)/50

x = 9247.84

the number of women is 9247.84 or if we round it since we can not have 0.84 of a woman employee, is it 9248.

-6+8x=-38<br> What is the answer and explain how you got it step by step
Anarel [89]
-6 +8x = -38
8x = -32
x = -4
I did this by first adding 6 to both sides to get 8x by itself. I then divided by 8 to get x by itself. I remembered to use the - - + rule (Two negatives make a positive, a positive and a negative make a negative). Hope this helps!

Step-by-step explanation:

If you need any explanation. I can do it, my friend. you can communicate with me to that or any thing do you need in math
