In this story, as it is told from the point of view of Odysseus, we get to experience the most adventurous and exciting side of it: we get to follow his battles against all kinds of creatures, Gods, and innumerable threats that the sea brings upon him.

If the tale was told fromthe point of view of Penelope (his wife), everything would change. The narration would be based around her longing for Odysseus' return, the struggles with her son, and a general emphasis on what was left behind making her suffer.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

n this story, as it is told from the point of view of Odysseus, the reader gets to experience the adventurous and exciting side of the story. The reader follows Odysseus' battles against all kinds of creatures, Gods, and the innumerable threats from the sea that Poseidon brings upon him. If instead the tale was told from the point of view of Penelope, the story would change drastically. The story would be based around her longing for Odysseus to return, the struggles with her son, and a general emphasis on Penelope's suffering. All told, the story would be a lot less intersting for the reader to read. Point of view is an extremely important element of The Odyssey.

What were the causes of the rise of nationalism throughout the world in 1750-1900
iren2701 [21]
In 1750-1900 countries were going through periods of rapid industrialization because of the industrial revolution. this industrialization brought on mass production of weaponry and goods which lead countries to participate in an arms race against one another to see who has the superior weapons, machinery, and resources. this constant competition echoed out culturally and socially too, hence the origin of nationalism.
