If I were drafted and forced to go to war I think it would be an experience that is truly humbling. It would provide me with the insight on how and why our great country was founded. While I wouldnt make that choice if forced I would be well versed in politics pertaining to military and the challenges they face daily from the battles they face, to what they eat, to the lack of equipment and funding they are provided to defend our country. It would be a valuable experience to understanding how and why our country is a democracy.
A dependent clause is a group of words with a subject and a verb. It does not express a complete thought so it is not a sentence and can't stand alone. These clauses include adverb clauses, adjective clauses and noun clauses.
