THe 1967 Detroit Riot was a confrontation between african american people in detroit against the police corps from the State, that lasted for 5 days and resulted in the most violent, destructive riots the Unites States had seen since the riots in New York on the Civil War, it got 43 people killed, over 2000 inprisoned and over 1000 injured, it started with a raid on an unlicensed bar that operated on a black neghborhood in Detroit, and it escalated into a massive riot and got the army of the united states involved.
