A major cultural contribution of the Byzantine empire that means a picture made of many cubes of marble or glass is Mosaic.

Further explanation

The mosaic technique was invented around 6000 years ago in Mesopotamia. It originally used clays. The Greeks and Romans used it to decorate the floors of their palaces. But, it was the Byzantine empire who have developed the most beautiful mosaic. Their mosaics were not placed on the floors, but the walls and ceilings.

From the 5th century, Byzantine churches began to use these decorations. Between the 6th and the 11th century, they were the main art practiced by Christians in the empire. It was in Constantinople, in Thessalonica, Italy, and Egypt that the greatest number of mosaics had been found. They represented the different life events of Christ, the Angels, and other characters from the Bible. Some of them were created to honor the great emperors as well. After the fall of the empire in the 15th century, this expensive art was forgotten and replaced by simple paintings.

The goals of the Coronado expedition included finding the Seven Cities of Cíbola and __________.
yanalaym [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is C. The goals of the Coronado expedition included finding the Seven Cities of Cíbola and claiming all the lands north of Mexico for Spain.

Explanation:

Francisco Vasquez de Coronado was a Spanish explorer, best known for the discovery of the southwestern United States.

Coronado arrived in New Spain in 1535 and four years later he became governor of the province of Nueva Galicia (which consisted of the Mexican states of Aguascalientes, Jalisco and Zacatecas). There he heard the stories of the Spanish explorer Cabeza de Vaca about the seven golden cities of Cibola, believed to be a rich Native American settlement northeast of the province. Coronado decided to conduct an expedition over land, to explore and add the area to Spain.

During the trip, the Grand Canyon, the Rio Grande and the southern Rocky Mountains were discovered. The expedition was a flop because no gold was found. Their discovery was a serious setback after the murderous long journey, the danger of the Indians and the food shortage. They had hoped for a lot but this did not live up to their expectations in any way.

timofeeve [1]
It depends on what you take to be the beginning and what the end. It lasted two years if you understand it as from the time it was revealed to the time Nixon resigned. It lasted 5 years if you take it from the time Nixon began doing it to the time he resigned.

There were pull and push factor which led to the westward migration in the USA. They migrated in large numbers from the stats of Ohio, Indian, Illinois, and New York. The opportunity to mine precious metals was also an equally important reason. Overcrowding of towns in the East and Low wages were the push factors.
