<h2>Answer</h2>

Slope = \frac{5}{3}

x-intercept = \frac{12}{5} =2.4

y-intercept = -4

<h2>Explanation </h2>

Remember that the equation of a line in general form is: Ax+By+C=0

where

slope=\frac{-A}{B}

y-intercept=\frac{-C}{B}

Notice that to express our equation, 5x-3y=12, in general form, we just need to subtract 12 from both sides of the equation:

5x-3y=12

5x-3y-12=12-12

5x-3y-12=0

Now can infer that A=5, B=-3, and C=-12. So let's replace the values in our formulas:

slope=\frac{-A}{B}

slope=\frac{-5}{-3}

slope=\frac{5}{3}

y-intercept=\frac{-C}{B}

y-intercept=\frac{-(-12)}{-3}

y-intercept=\frac{12}{-3}

y-intercept=-4

To find the x-intercept, we just need to replace y with zero in our general or original equation and solve for x:

5x-3y-12=0

5x-3(0)-12=0

5x-12=0

5x=12

x=\frac{12}{5}=2.4

I think the slope is 5/3, the x intercept is 12/5 ( i am not sure about this one), and the y intercept is -4. Hope this helps, have a good day. c;

Factor the quadratic expression 9x^2+33x+30
kicyunya [14]
Multiply the values of a and c together;

9*30= 270 <— find prime factors of this

270= 3*3*3*5*2

Now find a way to add these factors in different ways to give 33 (b value)

We can try (3*3*2)+(3*5)=?

18+15=33

Now that you know the numbers, break down the b value.

9x^2+18x+15x+30
9x(x+2)+15(x+2) <— make sure the brackets are the same
(9x+15)(x+2) <— check if this expands to the initial answer

Hope I helped :)

A net is a two-dimensional pattern that can be folded to form a three-dimensional surface. T/F
Nitella [24]

Answer:  True

Explanation:

Consider a 3D cardboard box that you can unfold. It would unfold into a 2D net that you can then re-fold back into its 3D form. The 2D net is useful to help visualize and calculate the surface area. The surface area is simply the total area of all the external faces.
