For example, when you have the "geography skill" it helps to develop a mental map of your community, province or territory, country and the world so that you can understand the “where” of places and events.

  • presenting spatial data - may include, but is not limited to, drawing sketch and precise maps, using GIS layering and/or other multi-media to present specific geographic information
  • presenting statistical data - may include, but is not limited to, constructing graphs, tables, performing calculations based on data
  • presenting visual data - may include, but is not limited to, taking photographs or drawing pictures, cartoons, multi-media
  • complex presentation - may include multiple forms of data for example Visual, spatial and statistical combined.

Another thing. Geography skills can make a person a better citizen because they would know the physical and mental features of earth. Nonetheless, it will help the person travel around the earth a lot better. Furthermore, it will also take the frustration away. And will take some of that  time that would have been wasted on searching the geographies of the earth.
