If it was in the stomach, we wouldn't get belly aches. If it were in the large intestine, we wouldn't poop. So that's my guess.
The organism would be a secondary consumer and a carnivore. An example could be an snake in the following food chain: grass -> bunny -> snake

though they will reproduce it will depend on the food source and if there is a food source since they are introduced to a new environment they most likely won't have any predators and can eat and move freely as much as they want to.
