What best describes a triangle with angles measuring 60 degrees, 40 degrees and 100 degrees

Mathematics

It can't be a triangle in the first place, because the measures don't add up. 40 + 60 + 100 = 200, but triangles are supposed to be 180 degrees. So it isn't even a triangle.

How can I use the golden ratio? Need this answer, stop putting false please.
natulia [17]

Hey, this is photography right?

Step 1: Evaluate the scene

Exactly how you use the golden ratio depends on the scene in front of you. Composition techniques are there to help you think about the scene instead of just pointing and shooting.

Step 2: Determine whether to use the golden ratio or the golden spiral (or even the Rule of Thirds)

Next, choose between the golden spiral and the phi grid. You can’t contort a straight object to fit inside a spiral, so if your scene has great leading lines, try the phi grid.

Step 3: Imagine the overlay and shoot

Imagining a complex spiral aligned over your photo can be tricky at first. If you simplify the concept, it’s a bit easier to manage.

First, check and see which grid overlays your camera has built-in by viewing the options in settings. If your camera has a phi grid or spiral option, turn that feature on. Most will have the Rule of Thirds. Even when that isn’t the composition guide you are using, it’s helpful to enable that feature.

Step 4: Edit

Picturing the phi grid or golden ratio spiral as you shoot is one thing, but what if you want that exact 1.618 magic number? Thankfully Photoshop  (and several other photo editors) have tools for that.

Hope this helped!

Penelope invested 60% of her retirement account in stocks and 40% in gold. Penelope believes that the return to stocks over the
hjlf

Answer:

1) mean = 21, standard deviation σ = 21.9317

2) the probability that Penelope's portfolio will earn at least 12% in the next 12 months is 0.6591

Step-by-step explanation:

 Given the data in the question;

1. According to Penelope's beliefs, what are the mean rate of return and the standard deviation of return of her portfolio?

Mean μ = Return = ( 60% × 15) + ( 40% × 30 ) = 9 + 12 = 21

mean = 21

standard deviation σ = √( (0.6² × 25²) + ( 0.4² × 40² ) )

standard deviation σ = √( (0.36 × 625) + ( 0.16 × 1600 ) )

standard deviation σ = √( 225 + 256 )

standard deviation σ = √481

standard deviation σ = 21.9317

2)  What is the probability that Penelope's portfolio will earn at least 12% in the next 12 months

so we are to find P( X > 12 )

converting into standard normal variable;

⇒ P( Z  > X-μ  / σ  )

= P( Z  > ( 12-21  / 21.9317  ) )

= P( Z  > ( -9 / 21.9317  ) )

= P( Z  > -0.41 )

FROM z-score table; P( Z  > -0.41 ) is 0.3409

P( X > 12 ) = 1 - 0.3409

P( X > 12 ) = 0.6591

Therefore,  the probability that Penelope's portfolio will earn at least 12% in the next 12 months is 0.6591

If r is directly proportional to the<br> square of s and r = 72 when<br> = 12, find r when s = 8.?
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

r2=48

Step-by-step explanation:

r1=72

s1=12

s2=8

r \alpha s \\  \frac{r1}{s1}  =  \frac{r2}{s2}  \\  \frac{72}{12}  =  \frac{r2}{8}  \\ r2 = 8 \times \frac{72}{12}  = 48
