: When some portion of business achieve better in market than their competitors then the term distinctive competency is used. In other terms it can be defined as when an organisation is found to superior in some characters of its business than the other organisations of the same business line.
The qualities and skills of an organisation that helps to grow it’s business and makes it unique than the others in the market are the major contributors in distinctive competency. It is the main cause of difference between the company and its rival organizations or competitors. It enables a particular section, service, product of company to rise very high and grew a large popularity and keep it ahead of all competitors.
Message flow is typically one-way, source to receiver. Harder to initiate, but Internet is changing that.
