Answer:

Option: B is the correct answer.

    B. x < 397.9 and x > 402.1

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that:

Each bag is advertised as weighing 400 grams.

Also, a bag must weigh within 2.1 grams in order to be accepted.

Hence, for the bag being accepted the weight must be no less than 2.1 gram from 400 gram and should be no more than 2.1 gram from 400 grams.

i.e. the weight of the bag must be such that:

               400-2.1≤ x ≤ 400+2.1

i.e.

              397.9 ≤ x ≤ 402.1

Hence, if the weight of the bag is less than 397.9 grams or is more than 402.1 grams then the bag will be rejected.

i.e. The range for the bag being rejected is: x<397.9 grams and x>402.1 grams.

From 0g to 494.7g are rejected as well as those heavier than 505.3grams.

You calculate this by subtracting and adding 5.3 to 500

AB has a vértices at (-5,1) and (-3,7). After a transformation, the image had endpoints at (3,-1) and (5,5). Describe the transf
Scrat [10]
That looks like a translation; let's check. We have

A(-5,1), B(-3,7), A'(3,-1), B'(5,5)

If it's a translation by T(x,y) we'd have

A' = A + T

B' = B + T

so

T = A' - A = (3,-1) - (-5,1) = (8,-2)

and also

T = B' - B = (5, 5) - (-3, 7) = (8,-2)

They're the same so we've verified this transformation is a translation by (8,-2), eight right, two down.
