 add -5 +-10 = -15

 so you have 10.5 x 10^15

 then you need to move the decimal point 1 place to the left to get 1.05

 since you move the decimal point 1 place to the left you add 1 to the -15 to get -14

 so answer = 1.05 x 10^-14
