Would you call today's world of computers, smart phones, and social media a renaissance? Why or why not?
maw [93]

<u>Renaissance definition:</u>

  1. <em>"the revival of art and literature under the influence of classical models in the 14th–16th centuries"</em>
  2. <em>"a revival of or renewed interest in something renaissance.</em>

I would not call the tech of today a renaissance because the renaissance was something ancient from about 60 centuries before we were born and I believe that simply thinking that technology or iPhones or an iPad could be called a reaissance, is an insult to the people of the Middle Ages.

Explain how the Great Compromise assisted both large and small states.
Alexus [3.1K]

The Great Compromise helped determine how each of the US states was to be represented in the Congress.

Explanation:

The Great Compromise was an agreement made between large states and small states regarding how much power states would have under the United States Constitution. It is also called the Connecticut compromise . It led to the creation of the two houses in congress.

House of representatives was determined by the states population and the senate had two senators as per the proportion of the state. This deal strike a balance between small and highly populated large states.
