The parasympathetic division is also called the craniosacral division because its preganglionic neurons are housed within nuclei
sergij07 [2.7K]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

The cell bodies of preganglionic neurons of the parasympathetic division are present in the nuclei of four cranial nerves in the brainstem. These four cranial nerves are III, VII, IX, and X. Likewise, some of the cell bodies of the preganglionic neurons of the parasympathetic division are present in the lateral gray matter of the second to fourth sacral segments of the spinal cord. Therefore, the parasympathetic division is also known as the craniosacral division. The axons of the parasympathetic preganglionic neurons are called craniosacral outflow.

Which best explains how the body maintains homeostasis?
kolezko [41]

McBossatronio,

The answer is the first option "all systems work together to stabilize the body." Homeostasis is the internal conditions that all living things have basically meaning how the body keeps cool during hot weather, or warm during cold weather.  You ever wonder why you sweat when it's hot, or shiver when it's cold that's your body keeping warm and cool which helps all your systems work together.

Hope this helps!

If a cell's RIBOSOMES were to stop working, what would immediately happen to the
NeTakaya

Answer:

D. Proteins would not get made

Explanation:

According to google: If the ribosomes were not working properly then your cell would not be producing proteins. If your cell did not produce proteins enzymes would not be available to speed up reactions throughout your body, and they would also not be available to make the many organelles made with proteins such as microtubules which would cause many other problems within the cell.
