50 PTS! can you make a 4 sentence comment on this please? The definition of a design is something that was made with a purpose.

This can be applied differently from mechanical design, like how a clock is full of gears. The # of teeth, diameter of each gear and materials of the gears was chosen one-by-one. Graphic design is the same. You choose the colors, size and shape of everything.

Answer: Design is the process of intentionally creating something while simultaneously considering it's objective (purpose), function, economics, sociocultural factors, AND aesthetics. Sometimes design is ugly (intentionally), and sometimes it's beautiful, but when done well, it's always on purpose. Design is also about doing.
