Global bee populations have been declining over the past decade. What impact might this have on the world's human population?
aev [14]

Answer:

Bees play a significant role in the field of agriculture. They can adapt to the process of pollination. Pollination is usually defined as the process of transportation of pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma. The bees pollinate the crops and increases their productivity and yield capacity. About 35% of the food that we eat, are dependent on this pollination act that is carried out by the bees, involving either directly or indirectly.

Over the last few decades, the population of the bee has been decreasing, and it is directly affecting the global human population. It is because less amount of food is produced compared to the rate of demand, resulting in a shortage of food items.

Which of these members of the food web brings energy into the ecosystem by transforming energy from the sun into chemical energy
lana66690 [7]

Answer:cacti

Explanation:

In an ecosystem, the ultimate source of energy is the sun. Plants take up this energy from the sun to produce food. Animals eats up plants and when they die ,they decompose. This continuing process leads to the transfer of energy from one trophic level to another in the ecosystem.

Plants ,algae and some bacteria are the primary producers in the ecosystem.they are able to make their own food and support the entire living system. They extract inorganic nutrients and energy from the environment, in order to make their food. Animals(herbivores) eats up the plants and other animals(carnivores) eat up such animals. This situation sets up a chain of flow of energy from the producer to the consumer and back to the environment.

The administration of antibodies isolated from one individual or species to another to protect the recipient from a toxin or dis
abruzzese [7]

The administration of antibodies isolated from one individual or species to another to protect the recipient from a toxin or disease is referred to as passive immunity.

Immunity to a disease is achieved due to the presence of antibodies to the disease in the human system. Antibodies are proteins produced by the body to neutralize or destroy organisms that carry toxins and diseases. Antibodies are disease-specific.

passive is the type of immunity that occurs when a person is given an antibody rather than making it by their immune system. For example, passive immunity occurs when the baby receives the mother's antibodies through the placenta or breast milk.

There are two types of immunity: active immunity and passive immunity. Active immunity occurs when our own immune system is responsible for protecting us from pathogens. Passive immunity occurs when we are protected from pathogens by the immunity of others.
