Answer:

Scoring a role and scoring a script are techniques used by actors to help them develop a character, clarify motivations, organize the structure of a scene and help actors craft and focus their performances.

Explanation:

Stanislavski called Scoring  role to the practical technique of making a list of the characters actions in a given scene in order. The list should form a logical and appropriate sequence for the character. Some advantages of scoring a role are: Preparing a score forces the actor to dig deeply into the play and into themselves; adding things to the score during rehearsal keeps the actor alert to the stimulation of the director and other actors; and having a score makes it possible to review the creative effort whenever necessary.

Scoring a script consist on marking it in order to break it down into "beats" and "units" in order to make specific choices about the dramatic structure, clarify motivations and get familiar with the tone of the characters and story; also to describe a character's arc in terms of objectives, tactics and obstacles.
