During photosynthesis, by using their chlorophyll, oxygen is produced as a waste product when plants use sunlight to “synthesize” sustenance into energy. The prefix “photo” means light, and the name “photosynthesis” takes its name from how plants utilize light to for the synthesis of food, water, carbon dioxide, and other nutrients.

Which sentence reveals the author’s point of view in the passage? Learning to ski when you're an adult can be difficult. And if
viktelen [127]

Answer: The second sentence, "And if you are the kind of person who is easily embarrassed, then skiing may not be the sport for you," reveals that the authors points of view is 2nd person.

Explanation:

2nd person point of view uses the pronouns you/your/yours. The first sentence does not reveal the POV because the author could potentially be speaking in first person and talking directly to the audience. However, the second sentence makes it clear that 'you' are the main character in the passage.

You advise your grandmother against using mineral oil as a laxative because
faltersainse [42]

The human body, as you may know, requires vitamins and minerals to be healthy.  Also, laxatives can be more hurtful than helpful sometimes.  So, it is important for everyone, especially older people, to be careful with laxatives and be very aware of their uses, side effects, and interactions.  Mineral oils will cause everything to be passed/excreted.  This includes fat soluble vitamins.  Thus, it would be quite advisable to let your grandmother know that even though mineral oils might help with constipation, there will be side effects—side effects that may do more harm than good.
