Miep Gies persisted to hide the Frank family because she could not think of any other substitute to her idea. Frank and other family members had all been very nice to her and hosted her many times.

Even Miep Gies's foster parents did not know that Miep is hiding Frank family at their own business.And she spent a night with them in the hiding .

After the war,Anne was slightly provocative but Miep persisted that she will carry on hiding Frank family.
