How do you determine which type of computer â tablet, laptop, or desktop â is best?

You need to know how you are going to use it. For instance, at a desk you'd probably select a desktop. A tablet is very portable and light, stand- alone. A laptop is also lighter however you can hook up other devices to it I.e. printer, external drive.
