The most effective way to vary the sentence patterns in the passage is to combine sentences to create longer sentences.

The three most common changes that we can make are:

*Vary the subject of your sentences. (it is not necessary that it's always the active subject)

* Break up long sentences and try to be more concise with words.

*Create subordinate (dependent) clauses by mixing sentences that talk about the same topic.

(e.g My cat Sikly is a Persian, a key to their distinctive look are it's long silky and short muzzle, ...)

Not all the other options change the sentence pattern and the ones that do are centered in just modifying one by one- not in a collective way for the complete paragraph
