Answer:

there is no passage but, esperanza just becomes more self aware of her situation by being humiliated after she realized she cannot do her servants job (like chores and stuff.)

Esperanza shows she changed when she asks isabel to teach her how to do wash, sweep, and other stuff. She reflects on how she used to live and seeing her maid, Hortenia, take her clothes to be washed was embarrassing for her.

Her change: wanting to learn to do work.

i hope this helps tbh.

sashaice [31]

The complete question is It was already late in the evening; and I wanted to go to bed. There was no reason to stay awake, since we knew that the power would not come back on until the morning. It had been a most unpleasant coincidence that the power outage had come when we had guests staying over; the entire house was full. Still, most of our guests had been understanding about it; so there was, for the most part, good humor all around. Staying on the second floor of the house were Uncle John, Aunt Sally, my cousin Roger, Pete, the twins, and myself. We had it worse than everyone on the first floor, all the windows in all the upstairs rooms were tinted; and there wasn’t enough moonlight in the first place.

Which of the sentence correctly uses semicolon?

The statement that correctly used the semi colon is Still, most of our guests had been understanding about it;

brilliants [131]

We can actually infer here that the word "regardest" suggests the following about the speaker’s attitude toward God: The speaker feels watched attentively by God.

Who is a speaker?

A speaker is known as an individual or a character that is seen in a story or a novel that tells or narrates the events happening. In a story, a speaker also known as the narrator can be seen in the story or outside the story.

We see here that in the given stanza from “Deliverance From Another Sore Fit.”, the speaker uses the word "regardest" to show us how he feels watched attentively by God.

When you regard someone, you tend to give them attention.

Read the following speech excerpt and then select the correct answer to the question below:
Digiron [165]
A true story of an act of terror followed by a show of American strength would best support the president's claim in this excerpt. A true story is vivid and memorable, especially if it can be shown visually. But even if it is simply described verbally, it makes an immediate impact on listeners. The other possibilities (e.g. landscape photographs or personal reflections) would have much less effect.
