Answer:

\frac{WV}{WX}=\frac{VY}{VX}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

In the right triangle WVX

cos(W\°)=\frac{WX}{WV}

Remember that

cos(W\°)=sin(Y\°) ------> equation A

Because are complementary angles

In the right triangle VXY

sin(Y\°)=\frac{VX}{VY}

substitute the values in the equation A

\frac{WX}{WV}=\frac{VX}{VY}

Rewrite the expression

\frac{WV}{WX}=\frac{VY}{VX}

A superhero asked his nemesis how many cats she has. she answered with a riddle "Three-fourths of my cats plus seven" how many c
liq [111]
Let C be the number of cats of the superhero. With this, the number of cats of nemesis have is 3C/4 + 7. The numbers should be equal such that,
                                     C = 3C/4 + 7
The value of C from the equation is 28. Thus, the number of cats of the nemesis is 28.

What is the value of the correlation coefficient r of the data set?
enyata [817]

The correct option will be:  C) 0.84

<u><em>Explanation</em></u>

Formula for Correlation coefficient :

r= \frac{n(\Sigma xy)-(\Sigma x)(\Sigma y)}{\sqrt{[n\Sigma x^2-(\Sigma x)^2][n\Sigma y^2-(\Sigma y)^2]}}

First, for each point(x, y), we need to calculate x², y² and xy .

Then, we will find sum all x, y, x², y² and xy, which gives us Σx, Σy, Σx², ∑y² and Σxy

<em>(Please refer to the attached image for the table )</em>

Here we got, ∑x = 44 , ∑y = 183 , ∑x² = 362 , ∑y² = 6575 and ∑xy = 1480

'n' is the total number of data set, which is 7 here.

So, plugging those values into the above formula..........

r= \frac{n(\Sigma xy)-(\Sigma x)(\Sigma y)}{\sqrt{[n\Sigma x^2-(\Sigma x)^2][n\Sigma y^2-(\Sigma y)^2]}}\\ \\ r=\frac{7(1480)-(44)(183)}{\sqrt{[7(362)-(44)^2][7(6575)-(183)^2]}}\\ \\ r=\frac{10360-8052}{\sqrt{(598)(12536)}}\\ \\ r=\frac{2308}{\sqrt{7496528}}\\ \\ r=0.84

So, the value of the correlation coefficient is 0.84

Hey can u help me how to do this plz.
Svetach [21]
Okay so x represents the amount of tickets sold. So first, you’d add the $40 + $70 which equals $110. So x = $110.

Now we have to solve for y. Same thing but with different numbers. $200 + $260 = $460.
The answer is (110,460)
x. y.

A box has colored balls (12 red, 10 green, 6 light blue and 8 yellow). What is the probability of drawing 2 red balls?
ale4655 [162]

Answer:

You will have a 33% chance of drawing a red ball

Step-by-step explanation:

If you do 12+10+8+6, you get 36 which then you would ratio it. 12:36, and you would convert that to a percent, which is 33%
