What do you say to a coworker who does not share your moral or religious views concerning abortion?

Answer:

Validate them! The best thing you could do is validate that person (your coworkers) view. All because you do not agree, that does NOT give you the passage to put down those persons views. That is the worst thing you could do. That just causes conflict, and that is something we would all like to avoid. Especially in a work setting. Like politics, present your side. Don't be afraid and shy away from sharing your opinion just because your coworker doesn't agree. Voice your opinion loud and proud (and respectfully). Let them know that there are better opinion instead of abortion. Or if you are PRO abortion, then let them know why you believe it. Just make sure you stay true to yourself while remaining respectful.

Hope my advice helps! :))

Just don’t discuss things like this with your coworker. Honest answer, it would only lead to trouble. Hold you tongue and don’t voice your opinion because you’re likely to start workplace drama if you clash with your coworker on something like this. If it bothers you enough, take it to your boss or supervisor and let them know that your coworker has been overly forward with their opinions that are inappropriate for the workplace. It

Read this excerpt from "Mad Cow, Furious Farmer."
Alona [7]

One example of the author keeping a lively tone even while discussing a disease is "The author humanizes the prion with playful language by saying '[i]f it..."

What is tone?

In literature, the term tone refers to the way an author or a narrator approaches a certain topic, that is, his attitude towards it. Examples of tone are the following:

 • Authoritative
 • Lively
 • Demanding
 • Humorous
 • Optimistic
 • Negative

The passage we are analyzing here manages to maintain a lively tone even though the author is describing a serious disease that affects cow. The reason why the tone is lively is the fact that the author humanizes the prion with playful language by saying "[i]f it manages to burrow into a corner." This conveys a funny, almost cute image, of how the protein that causes the disease functions.

With the information above in mind, we can choose option D as the correct answer choice for this question.
